CHAPTER 7 | SUMMARY!

Within this writing I reflect upon Chapter 7 of my book reading entitled: “EL NORTE.” I especially became interested within the history of Plaza de Armas located in what was formally the Spanish province of Louisiana. I also found unsettling moments within this chapter, yet to find moment of reflections to connect to the present day, and the importance of the title of a nation as the United States of America.

CHAPTER 6 | SUMMARY!

Within this writing I reflect upon Chapter 5 of my reading from the book entitled: “EL NORTE.” I became interested in the act of letter writing, the time-lapse between sending and receiving a letter from coast to coast, the historical Spanish missions in Alto California, the Kings Highway and the Spanish historical territory located in present day Vancouver that was called Nookta Sound.
