Whilst I have been busily preparing, completing my notes and taking the time to think and reflect about how to prepare a summary for Chapter 12 entitled: Del Rio, Texas. ca, 1910-40 from the book entitled: “EL NORTE.” I was inspired with the theme of reimagining and reawakening the soul of America, that breathes life – the Spanish Soul. The spirit that is immersed within the lands of America, to write the following poem:
I also took the time to reflect upon the names of roads and posted the following pictures that I took whilst walking in the neighbourhood, with the road name Old Spanish Trail, in Houston Texas. At the time I was merely intrigued by architecture as well as the name of the roads.
