Upon the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God – Jesus Christ, I reflected upon our Spiritual Mother Mary, whose arms of love are open for us, as we crave the love of parents. The unconditional love that is ever-present. This feeling of spiritual closeness is sometimes difficult even to embrace. Especially if we become accustomed to the giving and receiving of parental love through physical form and communications.
En la Solemnidad de la Asunción de la Santísima Virgen María, Madre de Dios, Jesucristo, reflexioné sobre nuestra Madre Espiritual, María, cuyos brazos de amor están abiertos para nosotros, mientras anhelamos el amor de nuestros padres. El amor incondicional que está siempre presente. Este sentimiento de cercanía espiritual a veces es difícil incluso de aceptar. Especialmente si nos acostumbramos a dar y recibir el amor paternal a través de la forma física y las comunicaciones.
In remembrance of our spiritual mother Mary – I try to find time to pray. Re-read words from prayers that helps to remember to trust God. Pray for the love and care from our Mother mary, that gives rise to the embrace of spiritual presence.
En memoria de nuestra madre espiritual María, trato de encontrar tiempo para orar. Releo palabras de oraciones que me ayuden a recordar que debo confiar en Dios. Oremos por el amor y el cuidado de nuestra Madre María, que dan lugar al abrazo de la presencia espiritual.
