On April 7th, 2024 it was the commemoration / feast day of Divine Mercy Sunday. I remember when I first learned of this day, I was drawn to the image of Jesus and simply thought, very beautiful. As time has progressed I learned more about the image of Divine Mercy Sunday and Saint Faustina. It is also upon this day that the Easter Octave concludes.
I would like to thank the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington D.C., and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, New York, USA., for spiritually walking aside us through the Lenten Season, Easter and Easter Octave. Within this journey was the commemoration / feast day of Saint Patrick, the Most Holy Week of Easter, Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Day 2024. The days of the Triduum, when the crucifixion of Jesus takes place, where I also remember through the Stations of the Cross.
The physical torture of Christ’s body can truly evoke many emotions of hurt, pain, suffering, thus; the gratitude of Church services, to embark upon these days together. I reflected upon the turning of suffering and physical pain to the Risen Lord and the joys of Easter. It is of-course difficult to shift from pain to joy in an instant, to especially note the daily remembrance of Christ with daily Church Mass Services, the offering of bread, wine, the Eucharist.
The Risen Lord that is free of pain, suffering, angelic, is also a belief. As humans place hope in the risen Christ, that our sorrows and hurts are crucified with Christ, and to share the fellowship of Christ as Risen in the very lives that we live. Thus, the bounty and goodness of God.
It is with these words I take the time to pray for peace upon the Holy Lands that are very much loved in the USA, Catholics, Christians, faith leaders, groups and ministries. With most respect, Holy Father of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, the Vatican, Rome, Italy, for your leadership, Church services. I was grateful to embrace the new virtual experiences of learning from the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal World, and the Praying with Jesus in the Garden of Olives, Jerusalem, Israel.
I remain eternally grateful to the mission of the Catholic Church to protect and preserve biblical teachings, traditions, celebrations, that are vital as a part of handing the faith to the faithful, the generations to come. I am in awe of the love of the faithful who crave to share their love and affection for Christ Jesus. May God Bless You, amen. Thank you.
It is through this journey we also embrace our own life experiences as part of our Lenten Journey, and are thankful to embrace the closeness of God’s Love through sacred communions, acts of faith, prayer, fasting, alms giving, solemn reflections, and all that is done for Easter’s preservation, feeling the closeness of God. May God’s love surround us in all that we do in your name, amen. May you accept our service to you in Christ Jesus, amen. With Heartfelt love and eternal gratitude. May God Bless You, amen.
May God Bless You + God Bless America, amen.
