As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace and blessings……
I wanted to take the time to thank and appreciate Mr. Elon Reeve Musk, FRS., for the recent tweet post as follows:
From this post I learned that Soros or Mr. George Soros is an American Businessman and Philanthropist with a net-worth of $8.6 Billion, and Magneto an American comic book character. While I don’t know much about both, I think there is room to explore further, especially the ability to compare, contrast, similarities, differences upon each. To wonder why Musk put Soros and Magneto together as a reminder? Quite frankly, this could truly excite an English / English literature / humanities and social sciences teacher, who could simply formulate an essay question for further student explorations, as well as incorporate news media contexts / analysis’.
The tweet is an important reminder of graphic novels, and the ability of graphic / pictorial stories to develop student literary skills. For all kinds of learners, with a focus upon visual learners. I decided to share the following images of books for students who are interested to draw comic characters and read graphic novels of our own:
In addition to the above – I think there is further room to explore wealthy individuals who ultimately possess power to impact political decision-making. But having said this I think individuals who are associated with the net-value become decisive about political involvement and decision – given political ability to govern individual lives. Which also reminded me of the 40th President of the United States of America Ronald Wilson Reagan (February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004) with the quotes included as follows:

The above quotes and many more of Reagan’s quotes lend nicely to a political scientific analysis of Reagan’s words, as associated with net-worth / net-value, human rights, dignity, human freedoms, the ability to limit and control, that also intersects with the American Judicial System, the Supreme Court that strives and seeks for points of balance, protections for the creations of justice.
