I would like to congratulate President Joseph R. Biden JR.., and his administration for the official designation of Castner Range in El Paso Texas as a National Monument, on the 21st of March 2023. I am proud and happy to learn of your appreciation for the lands of El Paso, especially as I am reminded of Mount Cristo Rey, the beautiful symbolisms of Christ, and the sacred spaces that connect and merge territorial lands. Thank you for your colorful descriptions of the lands / flower poppies that blooms as red, yellow, blue, golden, with reflections upon the mountains. Thank you for your recognitions of indigenous lands of El Paso whose population demographics are mainly 92% white hispanic / latino (Wikipedia contributors, 2023).
