I was deeply saddened to hear of the Barge that was carrying toxic substances and has crashed into the Ohio river in Louisville, Kentucky. The barge (boat carrying freight) became loose on Tuesday 28th of March and contained Methanol. This incident has occured as emergency crews are still working to clear the Ohio train derailments.
I keep all affected with the barge incidents close to me during this time, and thank U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and emergency crews for their services. And thank you to all who are trying to provide hope / relief that waters, rivers and oceans can be beautiful and safe.
