I took the time to reflect upon my previous thoughts, especially with regards to the idea of abolishment, independence and the various emancipation acts / laws. Although all of these events were real, especially for the creation of America and Independence; I also felt that it was important to remember that both the USA and the UK have come along way since these times and days. Although I am not familiar with present day politics in the UK, I would have to say that it would be unfair to say that Britain is living in the pre-independence era of the United States of America.

We can link these thoughts to the recent Oprah interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Whilst the couple decided to leave the UK, I always felt that the presence of Harry and Megan in the UK would have done much good, especially as to keep ties between the USA and the UK strong. The bonds and the history of the Royal family, that also keep the link of Princess Diana alive. I found the British Royal’s response appropriate, because the last thing that anyone would want is a Diana repeat. I wondered how much protection from the paparazzi would Megan and Harry have received, given the arousal of tensions? But is also doesn’t mean that a successful Harry and Megan could not have existed in the UK. Also just because the Royal couple is in the USA, it does not mean that the British Royals should not visit the USA or seek ways to keep relational ties together. This present example is complex especially as family relations are delicate.

Which also brings me back to TPS (Temporary Protected Status), the DREAMERS and the humanitarian and political crisis in Venezuela. As I previously mentioned: scholars / authors believe that the USA should take the responsibly, but ultimately this thought is dependant upon dialogue, conversation and negotiations to create political solutions.
Also as I previously mentioned, this should not mean that the USA should look away from other regional crisis, such as: Rohingya, Syria, Middle-East, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and so on. Each requires coherent solution, strategy and foreign policy development. Linkages in the Eastern hemisphere are also relevant, in terms of the birth of Jesus and the history of these lands. To desire and keep a presence at the global / international levels should view as desirable.
