Congratulations Markéta Vondroušová of Prague, Czech Republic for your 2023 Women’s singles player title. I am proud to support your win as you have comeback from injury as an unseeded tennis professional, that has claimed a major Tennis Tournament title. Congratulations to your opponent and runner-up of the Women’s title Ons Jabeur from Sousse, Tunisia. I am proud of your relentless efforts and parallel determinations. I appreciate your public emotions that truly did demonstrate the sheer desire to win. However; I think that Vondroušová revealed that winners can win, sometimes it maybe just a matter of which court. Congratulations!!!
Congratulations to Carlos Alcaraz Garfia of Villena, Spain, for your 2023 Gentlemen’s singles player title. I am truly grateful for your individual win, and especially for the country of Spain. It is most pleasing to see your athletic championship title to be claimed in front of kingdom’s United!!
Thank you His Majesty H. M Felipe VI King of Spain for your attendance and representation of Her majesty H.M Letizia Ortiz, Queen of Spain. Thank you Catherine, Princess of Wales, William, Prince of Wales, King and Queen Consort of the British Kingdom and your children. I appreciate your presentation of the Wimbledon 2023 Trophy to Mr. Alcaraz. This present day unification offers us much to reflect upon. Especially with regards to the historic relations between the United States of America, Spain and England, and of-course: Katherine of Aragon, Queen of England, Daughter of Isabella I, Queen of Castille, Spain, wife of King Ferdinand II. Thank you, for maybe what we could say making history come alive at this very present moment?
Congratulations Carlos Alcaraz as you embrace this title, you are creating the future as your fellow countryman Rafael Nadal embraces this win as well. Thank you. I appreciate your determinations and of-course to inspire young tennis athletes. I especially appreciated the tie-break point of the 2nd set with your win of 7-6, that will always be very memorable, thank you so very much.
Congratulations and thank you to Novak Djokovic for the determinations to defend your Wimbledon titles of: 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022. I appreciate your efforts and thank you for the respect of the court. Wimbledon truly is a title that you have claimed for 4 years, and I am sure that you did feel the loss, but you embraced the win of your opponent. As a seasoned professional athlete, you did your best. Congratulations as our Wimbledon 2023 runner up!
I wish everyone all the very best of success for future tournaments. I congratulate and thank all the winners of the singles, women’s and men’s doubles and mixed matches. Everyone that took the time to make Wimbledon 2023 possible. And for the record a simple politics aside note: as I reflect upon King’s, Queen’s, and leaders ultimately know their people, and strive to do what is best for their kingdom’s.
