REFLECTIONS | HUMAN TRAGEDY, MILITARY AND CIVILIAN.

I wanted to take a moment to pause and reflect. Amidst the tragic incidents of life loss that have occured within the realms of military and civilian; I reckon with the deep wounds and impact upon society. The severance to the heart, mind, bodily organs, the human mind. I also acknowledge and remain grateful for the strength and determination: conscious and subconscious capabilities of these very organs, soul, spirit and mind. To harness strength, determination to regain the effort to survive. Or even the will to live?

Where we could also connect to the idea of Valor – the determination of the human mind and spirit on the battlefield. In this moment to pause and reflect. To put forth this effort through this writing. My heart as drenched in blood, covered. Reaches out for a hand to hold and touch. To have and to hold. To confront the wounds. As the Crown of Thorns placed upon the head of Jesus Christ. Amidst the torture and slanders the heart of Jesus stood in faith and did not waiver.

“So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe.” John: 19. 5.

A solace moment of what is sacrificed, for what is lived.
