I was taking the time to reflect upon my previous thoughts. As we take a journey through time to uncover the mystery, secrets and treasures of a nation; I came back to the present moment to ask: why would anyone consider what happened years and years past to be significant at present day? Often we don’t truly fully understand why there is a need to know. Because most certainly present events, or the reaction to present events can be determined upon what is known about history. To further determine / enable ones actions / decisions. But of course we can learn know and appreciate histories.

What happens upon the individual level also determines and produces a response. We have a choice. A choice to choose harmony, and understand the underlying issues / factors that are placed before us, for the manufacture / creation of politics. Political divides that have resulted with the current racial tensions. Which is why we must also look at the positive to know that leaders have embraced, and have taken steps to create unifying points.

As I continue with this journey through history I remain in appreciation for the many individuals who discovered the lands of America. Whilst within history there are always positive and sometimes difficult to accept histories, we cannot change the pasts, but we can learn from these, especially to understand the present, the creation of the politics of the day, the reactions / responses.
