REFLECTIONS – OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE.

I wanted to take the time to think and reflect. I am very grateful and thankful to learn about Saint Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin who saw the image / vision of the Blessed Mother Mary in Guadalupe, Mexico. St. Juan Diego’s feast day is celebrated on December 9th, 2023, that leads to the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th, 2023.

I reflected upon receiving this knowledge from Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York on December 9th 2023, and the need to spread religious knowledge. This thought intersected with the desire to spread / share knowledge that is beneficial for the societal good, hence; religiosity as increasing human morality, spiritual well-being and so on, thus; the once again reiteration of the protection of human consciousness, the need for belonging, to feel safe with a religious organization or an academic institution. Especially to protect knowledge bearers.

Given the intricacy of politics and religion that is quite often woven together, as one desires to take the risks of a knowledge bearer, dissemination and creation. With the lurking of this risk is personal safety as mentioned in previous writings, and from the former; the need to safeguard and protect – the bearers of knowledge and the organizations to which individuals and groups belong to.

It is with these words I would like to thank St. Patrick’s Cathedral for your beautiful Mass-Services. I appreciate learning from you, and look forward to learning more about this beautiful Cathedral in New York!! Thank you! It is with these words I would like to wish everyone that celebrates a very blessed feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th 2023. May God Bless You and God Bless America, amen.
