WORLD REFUGEE DAY 2023.

Upon World Refugee Day 2023, I would like to thank everyone who tries to make individuals feel safe and secure. With sometimes an opportunity and sometimes with no other choice, than to flee their country. We can think and reflect upon the Global Migratory Crisis’ that are being covered up with an inflated climate crisis. But we can also think of the climate and refugee crisis as parallel.

I thank individuals and organizations whose concerns are to protect the vulnerable and fragile, upon a Global / International level. As I am drawn to the current U.S. – Mexico border situations. I am truly disheartened to see images of individuals with brutal treatment, violences and abuse upon the border. Where law enforcement uses the opportunity for police brutality. Whereas individuals who want to feel safe and secure in a safe haven are treated as targets.

I wondered how Non-Government Organizations and human rights groups could intervene? Especially due to the recent high surge of migrants crossing to the U.S. from ports Ciudad Juárez. I was also interested to learn that many of the migrants have reached the U.S. from Venezuela. To recognize the reality surfacing from previous scholarly theory. That specified the importances and impacts of the humanitarian and political crisis of Venezuela, upon the Americas and the United States of America.

Dedications: I would like to dedicate these words to our Holy Father Pope Francis. I thank you for your admirable efforts to become a voice for the voiceless, marginalized, people in frail conditions, thank you. I appreciate that you are able to raise the awareness of social / political concerns, in-keeping with the spirit of humanitarianism and the teachings of the Catholic Church, hence; Jesus. The greatest teacher of humankind. Thank you. May God Bless You and God Bless the United States of America.

💐

As an aside: I know that politics and current events can become heavy upon the heart and mind. Therefore I try to find ways to create some-kind of humor or some-sense to ease the heart and mind as I posted the following X (twitter) post.
