I would like to take the time to congratulate Mr. Elon Reeve Musk, FRS., CTO, Chairman of Twitter, Ms. Linda Yaccarino, newly appointed CEO of Twitter, for the announcement of the new Twitter logo on the 23rd of July 2023.
There were discussions / tweets via twitter on the 22nd of July 2023 that sparked public media interest upon Mr. Musk’s desire to change the Twitter Bird logo as pronounced the following day. I was quite surprised that if Mr. Musk suggests something it can happen immediately? wow. The Twitter Bird will now be replaced with an x symbol as per the following tweet.
It truly is remarkable that one is able to share a turning moment via, a public media platform with the Twitter Company and Mr. Musk’s announcement, thank you! I appreciate the simplicity of the design “π” that truly could convey much within it’s symbolism. Such as: the Crucifixion Christ Cross. Or as I reflected upon the Twin Towers that once stood upon the hallowed Ground Zero. In some cultures x is symbolic of a kiss. The x is the chromosome symbol within the human DNA that is present in the formulations of XY or XO. That creates gender identity as male or female, thus; it is the x chromosome that if found in living females and males.
The design of the font reminded me of Steve Jobs who was influenced greatly with Font design. Mr. Jobs took calligraphy classes to create typography, and was known as the Godfather of Fonts. I especially thank you for this reminder as a way to carry forth the legacy of Mr. Jobs, the then Co-Founder and CEO of Apple. Apple Inc., CEO Tim Donald Cook has served since 2011 to the present, thank you. I appreciate that Mr. Musk also recognizes the importance of the font creation / design. Which also resembles that to a piece of art. As the artist envisions what is to be created within the mind’s eye / human consciousness first, and then it is put forth to the World, thus; the giving of birth of what is formulated from within. Human Creativity.
I also wondered about the Copyright of the logo and how to utilize this while publishing?
It is with these thoughts, I would like to say that I will miss the Twitter Bird. The Twitter Bird was the logo that was present when I joined the Twitter community in 2014. I continue to appreciate the newly renamed Twitter as “π.” Especially with the many reflective elements as shared above. It will be interesting to see how the rebranding progresses. I especially thank you Mr. Musk for the x symbol that is symbolic to the name of your Son, Little X., as well as the creation / formulation of an X portfolio meshed with Space X. Thank you.
The first quote image below was created with canva.com on October 15th, 2019. The thought was derived from the positives / negatives of becoming public with my views and opinions. The experiences and encounters that one receives from public publishing. However; sometimes something that needs to be said or expressed will always find ways to be given forth to the World. π

The following quote is the same image but I have have updated with Hearts-Forever.Com. Thank you for your service Twitter Bird!!
