I would like to wish all the teams that are participating in the Women’s FIFA World Cup Championships the very best of luck for the tournament. The quadrennial Championship is currently taking place in New Zealand, Australia from July 20th – August 20th 2023.
I was unaware of the opening ceremony and only realized of World Cup 2023 when I heard of Spain’s first win, Congratulations! And also saw President Joseph R. Biden JR., First Lady Dr. Jill Biden’s tweet’s supporting the USA Women’s Team. I thank you for supporting our national teams as the women athletes head on down under.
Thank you to all media for coverage of the Women’s FIFA World Cup 2023. I appreciate the dedications of the fans, commentators, and supporters that make such an event possible, as we look forward to a Champion. I appreciate the trophy design that was created by the Italian designer William Sawaya who was born in Beirut, Lebanon. The trophy is sterling silver and coated 23-carat white and yellow gold.
