I have often reflected metaphorically of love and peace to that of a double edged sword. As one must withdraw the sword naked in times of attack, and insert the sword into the sheath / scabbard in times of peace. This idea is further expanded to the depths of love. As with the depths of love, there is great love, there is great depth of love, much depth that is meshed into the depths of the soul, heart, mind, body and flesh, to become what one loves.
It is also within the very depths is the excruciating pain when love is hurting or harmed. Thus; to recognize the +/- consequences and complexities associated with love. In the most favorable and desirable conditions, one hopes to share the happiness, joys, and all the goodness that blooms from within. And of-course when love feels threatened, hurting or harmed, it is a very natural instinct for protective tendencies to manifest.
While we can associate anger and the violent emotions of love as a form of protection, in any-kind and every-kind of way, the sheer hurts can reveal the uncontrollable desires to keep and protect love. Which is also quite natural, given that if there wasn’t love, there wouldn’t be anything to protect?
I know that love desires to protect, preserve and maintain love in every way, but I know that the survival, the strength of bonds as two bodies are joined in flesh, holding hands, joined as one is much much more greater. Protecting and preserving the kingdom of God, thus; the Father, Son and Spirit.
May God bless the purity, protections and intentions of the heart. And forgive the hurt or harms that are caused knowingly or unknowingly in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Dedication: I was inspired to write these words as I heard / listened to the recent Twitter Spaces conversation, where Mr. Elon Reeve Musk, FRS., mentioned the words of the double edged sword. I appreciate the words spoken, especially to encourage and inspire this writing. This was the first time I joined a live Space Conversation to listen-in. Thank You!
