It is with solemn respect and heartfelt love and kindness that I would like to share my completed color version of the sketch entitled: Forever In Our Hearts! For organizational purposes of the sketch color version is named as, Forever In Our Hearts II!
After I created the pencil replica for the color version, I later learned that I had painted upon the original pencil sketch that I had created first completed on the 17th of September 2022. However, I just decided to continue to complete painting upon the sketch. The painted version was completed on the 22nd of September 2022.
Any kind of artist will know the deeply personal connections of ones creativity, and the immense courage that it takes to share upon a public level, thus; as per previous blog posts / writing that convey the contexts for the art creation, here too I reiterate the very rupture of the heart, the delicate emotions from the solemn remembrance of 9/11. And also to appreciate Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s solidarity with the USA during this time of tragedy.
Within this writing I also continue to pray for strength and healing of the heart. To the many families, loved ones, victims and survivors, that mourn the loss of life from the most deadliest of tragedies in the United States of America. To all who remember the sacred and precious lives, may we continue to find ways to feel grateful and thankful for life. The breath and heartbeat that keeps us alive.
