On September 11th 2001 the most deadliest of terrorist attacks occured in the homeland of the United States of America. Upon the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, New York City, The Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia, and a Federal Government building in Washington D.C., USA. These attacks are collectively referred to as 9/11. The attacks involved 4 planes that were hijacked by Islamic extremist terrorists claimed by al-Qaeda. The terrorist group claimed nearly 3,000 lives, that resulted in 2,977 fatalities and over 25, 000 injuries.
September 11th 2022 marks the 21st anniversary of 9/11. On this day and everyday I take the time to honor the memory and the lives that were sacrificed during this attack. I thank the families of the victims who have honored the memory of loved ones. The family members, loved ones, friends, that will never hear the stories, conversations, the hugs or sorrows of loved ones and family members ever again. I mourn with you and share your grief. I miss you and love you. I will never forget your sacrifices for the nation of America.
It is with these words I reflect upon the greatest tragedy that took place resulting in trying to unite a nation. All first responders including the New York Police Department and the Fire Department New York, supporting teams, groups, individuals who took risks to save others. Never forget.
