I would like to take the time to wish Columbia a very happy Independence Day that is celebrated on July 20th. The country of Columbia claimed independence from the Spanish Empire in 1810. Similar to the Republic of Argentina that was part of Continent of Republics, Provinces of Central America and the United Provinces of Rio de la Plata; Columbia was the Republic of Gran Colombia, that consisted of Ecuador, Panama, Venezuela, with parts of northern Peru and northwestern Brazil. On this day of Independence I wish Columbia a very happy Independence day! Feliz Día de la Independencia Columbia!
