On April 23rd 2022 there is a call to action and march designated for the citizens who support the statehood of Puerto-Rico with the bill entitled as HR. 1522. It is on this day I would like to take the time to offer my support to the Puerto-Rico leadership and populations who are in-support of Puerto-Rican Statehood. The recent U.S. Supreme Court’s (SCOTUS) decision to exclude Puerto-Rican’s from the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program is another reason as to why joining America as a state would serve as beneficial to the people of Puerto-Rico. As well as to receive Federal Aid, humanitarian supports in-times of Natural Disasters Decelerations such as the 2017 Hurricane Maria, as well as to incorporate Puerto-Rico as part of America’s Official land, culture and heritage. Whilst I have remained neutral I did want to hear from the people of Puerto-Rico to know if Statehood was what they preferred. Given the support that you are receiving in Puerto-Rico and main land United States, I am only guessing that the majority populations would prefer Puerto-Rico as part of the United States of America. I wish you all the best for HR. 1522 as the bill makes its way and passage through the U.S. Senate Legislative process!!!
