On December 7th 2021 it is the 80th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor Attack that took place on Pearl Harbor, December 7th 1941. Hawaii Island. On a day that has been termed as: “a date which will live in infamy” by former President Franklin D. Roosevelt, I am honored to join World War II veterans, family, friends, U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Parks service, and all who gathered to commemorate the 80th Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, with this years theme of valour, sacrifice and peace. The theme could truly be felt with the lovely flowers, greenery, leafs, orchestra, with the reflective words offered. Termed as the greatest generation – to the remaining survivors and those that sacrificed their lives, thank you for your service. From a grateful nation – Thank you. A beautiful solemn remembrance service. Always remember Pearl Harbor! God Bless You and God Bless America.
