On the 3rd Monday of February each year President’s day is celebrated, this day was originally designated to honor founding father George Washington as the first President of the American Constitution of the United States of America. This day is now a day to celebrate all American Presidents. On this day of February 15th 2021 it is Presidents Day.
As the current Capitol riots and Impeachment proceedings have unsettled many I decided that I would like to share the fact that Samuel Chase was the only founding father to undergo impeachment proceedings and was later acquitted. Simply to know that even in the midst of present day chaos, we are still living during a time of history in the making.
