I continue to remain aware of the considerations and circumstances that force individuals to seek asylum, refugee, temporary protected status and so on. And hope for betterments of human conditions, as I reflected upon the bible passage as follows:
“And he said to them, ‘Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart.'” Luke, Chapter 9, Verse 3-4.
The words are reflective of the faithful Catholics of South America that utilize belief in bible teachings as strength and determination, for the journey towards the United States of America.
