I would like to wish everyone that celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month a very happy month of celebrations and commemorations, to raise awareness of the important Hispanic contributions in the United States of America. For this month I would like to thank the U.S. Postal System for their special festive Piñatas stamps. It is really nice to see colorful ideas for people who are mailing letters this month, as I especially love the Piñata that is included in celebrations, and the best when filled with yummy treats, thank you very much!!
Upon the day of Hispanic Heritage Month that begins on September 15th 2023 until October 15th 2023, I would like to share the following quote from the book entitled: “Cuba: An American History” as follows: “all of the Americas, have an eternal bond of unity, a common heritage bequeathed to us alone.” (Ferrer, 2021). Of Christopher Columbus’ spirit, the 30th President of the United States of America Calvin Coolidge, spoke these words in Cuba. I appreciated that within these words we are able to find a sense of unity within Hispanic University, the lands associated as the Americas and also to connect to the USA, given that these words were spoken by an American President.
