I would like to take the time to congratulate all the participated in the Cherry Blossom Festival of 2023! Congratulations for a successful parade! I appreciate the dedications and work of the National Park Services and the U.S. Department of Culture and Heritages for your commitment to preserve the Cherry Blossoms of Washington DC., USA. The beautiful flower trees also serve to protect the USA and Japan relations. Thank you.
It is with these thoughts I share my thoughts of love, sympathy and prayer to the 1 individual that was struck by a Metro Train at the Pentagon City Metro station. This incident alerted public caution to expect travel delays and to take alternative routes. My thoughts of love, prayer and sympathy to the victim, loved ones, friends and family. God Bless You. May your soul rest in eternal peace in the kingdom of Heaven, where flowers are boundless, and flourish forever, amen.
Amidst the tragedy, I continue to remain hopeful that individuals are able to enjoy public events. Thank you to all who helped to keep public calm as the parade continued.
