I wanted to take the time to think and reflect, as my mind reflected back to the war / invasion / situation in Russia and Ukraine. As time has lapsed individuals have had to leave their homes, search for safety, the ones that have survived in a kind of interim time of life, and faced with decisions and choices, as to the journey of life. I continue to believe that the root-causes of this war are driven from oil, natural gas, resources, the Nord Stream Pipeline, and of-course the Russians desire to claim Ukrainian lands and territories.
As I took this much needed moment to reflect, although we all have our personal experiences that are related to war, trauma, the psychological and physical effects of all-kinds. Watching or hearing of war can simply retrigger much from within. Thus, to refrain and limit the trigger. This does not mean that one does not care of others suffering. As we are reminded that we wouldn’t want hurt, harm, or something that has negatively impacted another’s life to happen to us.
These thoughts also remind us that our experiences change us. For instance: the soldier that was part of the Afghanistan Evacuation Missions and is now back in America, will have shaped very different attitudes, beliefs, due to the experience. Similar to that of the Russia and Ukraine war. As per previous thoughts, I do feel sad that war is happening in nations that are considered modern, thriving nations. That have also caused fragility, insecurity, in all of Europe and neighboring nations. That will continue to feel the effects of rising gas prices.
I wondered why there is no public news discussion or updates about the Ukrainian Wheat Peace Agreement, rising gas prices as winter approaches, that of-course will affect the consumer world-wide.
