I would like to take the time to offer my thoughts of love and closeness to the State of Texas and the City of Uvalde, Texas, USA. Uvalde became the victim of a gun massacre that was much greater than first perceived as news stories emerged from the media. We are horrified with the loss of these young lives, and teachers that aimed to make a difference. The death toll has risen to 19 children and 2 teachers, and is now described as one of the deadliest school shootings since Sandy Hook, that took place in one classroom of the Robb Elementary school
I appreciate the thoughts of love and sympathy that are offered from all, and I know that even those who are reporting upon this massacre are deeply grieved. I appreciate that the Political and Senate community has recognized that more efforts need to be in-place for the prevention of Gun Shootings, in the case of schools and Uvalde, which is tragic to see and hear of young innocent children who have come in harms way.
At this time my thoughts remain with you all, it is unimaginable to think of the anguish that is being felt by the grieving families.
Thank you to our first-responders and everyone who is trying to support this devastation. I know that Texas is strong, and will pull through this together.
