SENATOR ORRIN HATCH.

My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives, the United States Senate, fellow Republicans, Democrats, the political community and nation, for the passing of Senator Orrin Grant Hatch. Senator Hatch passed away on April 23, 2022 at the young age of 88. He was the longest serving Republican Senator in the U.S. Senate from Utah. Senator Orrin Hatch’s loss will be felt within the U.S. Senate as he was the President pro tempore of the United States Senate, the second highest-ranking member of the United States Senate, and member of committees such as: United States Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, and Chair of the United States Senate Committee on Finance. Senator Orrin Hatch was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was inspired to learn of his early childhood and family background. Hatch grew up in a family surrounded by poverty but was able to attend college and begin to practice with a Law Career. At this time I send my heartfelt sympathies to close loved ones, family members and all who mourn this wonderful treasure-filled life of service. May God rest your soul with love and peace. Risen in Christ. God Bless You, God Bless America. Thank you for your service.
