As I decided to take a moment to write and reflect upon the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Patricia Pelosi, the sudden news of Governor Ron De-Santis’ wife – First Lady of Florida Casey DeSantis with her diagnosis of breast cancer leads me to firstly offer my thoughts of love, sympathy, support and good health wishes for recovery. To diminish any signs of illness, so that you are able to live the life of fullness with your beautiful children, husband and the people that you serve within the great state of Florida. I join the people of Florida with wishes of support, and I hope that fellow Republicans and Democrats will unite to support our wonderful First Lady of Florida State.

This wish echos a thought that was conveyed during the 20th Anniversary of the 9|11 terror attack, where it was said that the division of Red and Blue states could not be seen, and all that mattered was the matter at hand – to survive and keep each other safe. I wondered even as the political discourse continues, can humans see beyond Red and Blue? Essentially as I wrote previously, when we say that the world simply is not black and white, a nation is also simply not red and blue. Maybe the color codes are necessary to categorize from the political perspective, but in truth humans can be viewed as a spectrum, that blend together especially in-times of happiness, joy and grief. my good thoughts of strength and get-well wishes!

It is with this thought I was inspired to reflect upon the strength of a woman – a woman that is leading to exert her passion for the good of a nation. Of course often times there are agreements and disagreements within the discourse, but what inspired me was the passion of House Speaker Ms. Nancy P. Pelosi. It is without a doubt; Pelosi’s passion can certainly be viewed as similar to that of Honorable Margaret Hilda Thatcher (1925-2013), who was leader of Britain’s conservatives and Prime Minister of Britain. I was inclined to write a simple thank-you to Ms. Pelosi someone who deserves appreciation, and contributed so much. This thought can be transferred to the many living political legends that we are witnessing in the making. Also such as U.S. Congresswoman / House of Representatives from Florida – Ms. IIeana Ros-Lehtinen. Republican’s Ros-Lehtinen election was the first of a Cuban American to be elected to congress also proud to be living amongst us. I feel grateful for the strength of a woman – and even as I write, I feel grateful for the strength found within.

These words are dedicated to the strength of a woman and to all who support and encourage the strength of a woman in all fields, and in particular to dedicate these thoughts to the First Lady of Florida Casey De Santis in view of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The diagnosis of a woman, with strength, support and recovery of a woman, from the strength of women in politics that I have mentioned within this writing.
