I planted this Peony on the first day of Spring as a welcoming gesture for the USA and China talks that are taking place in Alaska, USA. Upon conclusion of the meeting for the continued wish for peace, as I learned that the Peony flowers are a popular flower grown in Alaska as well as a Chinese national emblem. There are views, opinions that will align and many to remain critical of, but we also look towards our leaders to hope for diplomatic efforts.
