My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives, loved ones and all who are affected with the Pakistan train derailment that took place on August 6th 2023. The name of the train was Hazara Express and was travelling from Karachi to Havelian. 10 carriages fell off the tracks located near Nawabshah. From this train derailment 30 individuals were killed and nearly 100 were injured.
I pray for the victims, may you rest in the eternal kingdom of heaven, amen. And to all the injured that you will recover and receive proper health care.
The incident alerts for health-care needs in remote areas as well as alerting Pakistani officials, of the mechanical failures or a result of sabotage as the source cause of the derailment.
While I am aware of former Pakistan Government Prime Minister Imran Khan currently in the spotlight, I was reminded of Benazir Bhutto. The many inspirations of seeing her during my childhood years as a passionate and aspiring politician, the heartbreak of her assassination will also live in my heart.
