I wanted to take the time to congratulate Mr. Elon Reeve Musk, FRS., upon the recent Q2 Shareholders Earnings / reports, that was shared upon a live call on July 19th, 2023. Thank you for sharing your insights from Texas, I wish you much continued success.
I took the time to reflect upon Mr. Musk’s words and I thought about the Tesla truck and would have to say that in all honesty, I had never heard of the Cyber Truck, only until the recent media Twitter posts, and getting to know more about Mr. Musk from the initial acquisition of Twitter.
With respect to the Cyber Truck I think that there is great potential for the vehicle. Especially if we think about land terrains, and the kind of built in toughness that is required for traveling purposes. However; I am deeply saddened of the Cyber Truck’s mass-productions, especially as I appreciated the exclusivity of the vehicle and a sole proprietor. In-particular the exterior material reminded me of the reflecting Twin Pools of the 9/11 memorial in New York.
My thoughts remind me of the arts or poetry when a creative form is deeply personal, the great courage that is required to share such personal creations publically, as well as a sense of pride and ownerships that are derived from sharing one’s personal work. Which is where and when artists / creators become reluctant to mass-produce their work for public availability.
However, it is with these words we can also recognize the public demand for a vehicle such as the Tesla Cyber Truck, where CEO’s make executive decisions to fill a demand where potential needs arise, or the changing landscapes of a company’s mission statement, strategic goals and Investments. I was also concerned of severe lightning / thunderstorms, and the impact upon the functioning of an electric vehicle. I am sure that Tesla and other car companies that are creating electric cars have considered.
