I would like to take the time to reflect upon the life of Dame Olivia Newton John who passed away on the 8th of August 2022. Also known as Olivia Newton John and for the famed character of “Sandy” from the American Musical film entitled as, “Grease.” The film was very famous, and many adaptations of the film were created from its 1978 film debut. “Sandy” starred alongside actor John Travolta who was named as “Danny.” I appreciated to also enjoy the theatrical version of “Grease” that was especially created for the films 40th anniversary.
I reflected upon actors, actresses or film stars that we invite into our homes to enjoy their films or T.V. series shows and so on. It is actually like inviting someone into your home, and engaging with each-others lives, similar to the reading of novel / stories.
A film like “Grease” is iconic in the sense that it reveals that from a famed film and loss of characters, we come to recognize and end of an era. However, I am sure that John’s legacy will continue on with the many more initiatives that she carried through her life.
Beautiful till the end of her earthly presence. Thank you for your gifts and talents to the World. Thank you for your service.
