August 7th is the National day that is allocated as the observance of Purple Heart Day, for the service men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the country of America, and those who bear the wounds, bruises, from active battles, and suffered from injuries. Military members are selected by the President of the United States of America and are awarded the Purple Heart Medal Merit.
On this day I take the time to observe Purple Heart Day and especially remember my attendance at the Buffalo Bisons Baseball game, Buffalo, New York., USA. Where I first learned about the Purple Heart Award. I appreciated the ceremonies at the beginning of the Bisons baseball, and took sometime to reflect upon the color Purple, with the hope that learning of the Purple Heart, will help to rebuild and restore memories / emotions associated with Purple.
To the ones who have given their life, bear the visible and invisible wounds, we are eternally grateful for your service, sacrifices, accomplishments, to protect and defend the United States of America.
