TEXAS STRONG!

The Texas power outages reminded me of the birth of our youngest daughter who was born during the Great North American Blackout of 2003. The power outages lasted for several days. I remember feeling the labor pains and was taken to the hospital. My memory is a blur if the hospital was with power or not, but I am grateful that she was born healthy. Whilst the birth was natural but difficult, I decided to share this as a mechanism to inspire all who are facing the power outages in Texas and the winter storm weather. Through the difficulty our abilities to endure are strengthened, and it is experiences such as these that increase and alert future preparedness. It is with these thoughts I wish that power is restored to all who are affected, and that everyone is warm, has food and is safe. My continued thoughts of love and prayer to all who are persisting through the wintery weather. It is always good to know that you are well, healthy and safe.
