As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect. Particularly with regards to the United States of America’s election entitled as Decision 2020. The Decision 2020 took me back to the memories of four years earlier when President Donald J. Trump was elected, and succeeded former President Barack Obama Hussein.
Throughout the four years, as I reflect – with any kind of politics or leadership, there are always going to be agreements and dis-agreements, as to how decisions are made. Having said that I believe that the Trump Presidency was met with barriers. Recent examples include the desire for a peace agreement within Afghanistan, which was clashed by a string of terrorist attacks and opposition from the International Criminal Court. As well as the COVID-19 health pandemic that intersected with the Black Lives Matter movements, at the national and international levels.
Amidst these we can wonder if a Trump Presidency was even allowed to formulate? I think that we can say yes, no and maybe so, if we collect and reflect upon the years. For instance President Trump is the first President to actively engage overt ideas upon social media platforms. But I think that a presidency and how a president desires to lead can be limited, or embraced becomes limited, especially as the need to handle the unfolding of day-to-day events takes precedence, both foreign and domestic.
As Decision 2020 takes place, the election becomes pivotal, not just because a leadership can change or remain the same, but also because of political party – Republican or Democratic? While of course it does matter who is selected to win, let’s take a moment to return to simplicity. The basics of matters, hoping that communities, neighbourhoods, families and individuals can flourish.
To achieve goals, dream again, to turn dreams into reality. To live, breath and prosper and smile, amidst the chaos. To create a balance of politics within a nation and the life that one desires to live.
Wishing all the best and good Luck to, President Donald J. Trump and Democratic Presidential candidate / nominee and former Vice President, Joseph R. Biden JR. Thank you for your dedication and commitment.
I am sure that we can all agree upon love for nation for the desire to serve!
God Bless You and God Bless America! 🌹
