Public love or Scrutiny?

The truth is that as I just finished creating another little piece of art work, I was hesitant to share my work on-line via my website. This was especially because of the many emotions attached to the creations. In a sense; sharing personal art is as if we are sharing a deep personal piece of the self on-line. And of course sharing the personal / private at the public level, is also where one will be embraced, or prone to the scrutiny of the public. Public love or public scrutiny? But then I realized isn’t this exactly what the writing form, the act of publishing is as well? Except rather that sharing image form, we are sharing with the forms of writing. Because writing just like art is an artistic form. So as I share this internal debate of sharing deep, personal, private art at the public level, I have decided I should. Not only because I always have done so previously, but because art possesses the ability to induce thoughts. Even if the response is love or scrutiny. But maybe this time I was a little hesitant because the level of emotional pain was greater. So it is with much love and kindness, I will share my little art pieces. As inspired by Frida Kahlo’s Mexican Votive style.

My thoughts to share with love & kindness! 🙂
