I wanted to take the time to wish the U.S. Congress all the very best for your summer holidays / recess / vacations. Thank you for all that you do and have done for the progress of society, social advocacy, programs and much more through your various political roles. To also note the sometimes slow progress and the much desire to have a voice heard.
As the incident occured on August 2nd 2023 upon the Russell Senate Building: I was reminded of walking past the building during my Washington, D.C., visits in 2016 and 2017. At the time my blog post / publishing was not focused upon the reading of U.S. Law or reading bills created by U.S. Senate members. I did find it interesting as my writing has progressed, as it seems the pen at present is simply trying to find its way back to you?
While I truly am grateful for all who serve in any-kind of capacity for the U.S. Senate. It must be said that I think that my entry could be viewed as somewhat premature. Given I lack the credentials for the formal professional role. But with respect to my writing, it was bound to happen. As the higher one climbs in-terms of Academia – you simply learn and are met with the Government structures, national / international / global challenges, depending upon area of interest.
And of course there is still much more to say and do! I will miss you… Thank you, and all the very best!
