I would like to take the time to thank Mr. Elon Reeve Musk, FRS., for your visit to China. I appreciate your time and generous authenticity upon this visit. While of-course I am not familiar with the contents or intentions relating to the matter of the visit, I can only assume the need for the protections of investor relations, entrepreneurship and business interests. That I have written a lot about in previous blog posts, that intersect with United States Domestic and Foreign Policy.
I must admit that I am grateful to see your images, looking healthy and well, and especially the art scenery, that also evokes the idea of artistic and cultural diplomacy when engaging in Foreign relations. This is also a move that is upon the outskirts of what would normally be viewed as opposition to the current strategic goals and mission of US Politics / policy, that also concerns Taiwan and Japan. However, I am open to stepping into the unknown to ponder upon how your presence, and affiliations with the United States of America will also give some-kind of considerations to China and USA present and future relations?
As we emerge post-pandemic we are truly a World that is changed pending to how COVID-19 restrictions affected human populations. I appreciate that the United States of America’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced the end of the Federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE), as per May 11th 2023.
Musk’s visit reminded me of previous writings upon America’s peaceful rise with China., as recently the Chinese Diplomat and Politician Mr. Qin Gang urged for the USA to become reflective of relations with China. I welcome this utterance from China Governance especially to remark upon the interiority of China, Chinese Populations that have relations with American populations. Such as civilians that are not directly involved in the politics of a nation. Which evokes the idea of nations becoming reflective of this baby-step too.
The following quote from the preamble in the United Nations charter states: “We the peoples of the United Nations [are] determined to practice tolerance and live together in pace with one another as good neighbors to unite our strength to maintain international peace” (Nicoletti & Merriman, 2007, p. 15). This is also an important reminder for the activities of the United Nations as an organization, and the need for Government policy considerations. But it should be noted that the United States intelligences and security to safeguard and protect the homeland is of paramount interests, including fidelity and loyalty to USA. #AmericaFirst ??
