CRISIS AT THE BORDER.

I would like to wish all the migrants who are approaching the U.S. Southern border El Paso, Texas, all the very best of health as they partake the decision to enter the USA via Southern Border Ports. Many of the migrants are from Nicaragua, Venezuela and Honduras, who are trying to escape political oppressions and economic hardships. While I know that migrants / asylum seekers try to enter the US upon a regular basis, what I do hope is that tragic incidents such as the Texas Migrant Truck does not happen again, the effects much of which were smeared with other events that were taking place.

Migration and Asylum seeking is a human right, and border security is also essential to what makes a country a country. However, the humane processing of individual cases should also be viewed as per necessary. Given that individuals that make these journeys including children are also facing harsh conditions.

I connected with my previous writings with philosophical views: I think that the repeating topics of migration surges of vulnerable individuals in-particular at the U.S. Southern border is a reminder to wealthy nations to help the marginalized and those who seek opportunity. I reflected upon the bible verse as follows that connects well to these views: “Then the King will say to those on his right come you who are blessed by my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” Matthew 25: 34.
