My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives, the Smithsburg, Maryland community and all who are affected with the tragic shooting that took place on June 9th 2022. The shooting took place in a workplace in rural Maryland, that claimed the lives of 3 individuals and left 1 person with critical injuries. The wounded victim is reported to be a State Trooper. The wounds were from a shoot-out between the trooper and the suspect. At this time the motives of the suspect are not known.
We pray for the families of the victims and the injured, as we continue to reckon with the devastating effects from Gun Violence and try to find solutions to prevent the cycles of violence from repeating. Thank you to all the first responders and authority of Smithsburg, Maryland, who tried their best to support this community.
