The Ascension of Jesus is the Christian teaching of our love Christ Jesus ascending from Earth into the Heavenly realms. The Ascension of Jesus Christ takes place 40 days after the celebrations of Easter and is usually known as Holy Thursday. However; the Ascension of Jesus mass services are also offered upon the regular Sunday Service.
For the Ascension of Jesus Day, I reflected upon my digital presence. The truth is our existence is created beyond social media, such as our greater human purpose, however; as I took the time to reflect upon the instructions given to the Apostle Paul in Acts 13 verse 15 “…if you have a word of encouragement for people, say it.” I contemplated that our presence on social media could encourage and inspire.
