CHRISTMAS TREE.

I wanted to take a moment to reflect upon the symbolism of the Christmas Tree, whilst the trees are beautifully decorated during the Christmas season, the tree is also representative or hope, anticipation, life and the true essence of the season, the birth of Christ Jesus. This is a tradition that originates from Germany.

This year I have appreciated the tree-lighting ceremonies that took place at The White House, The Capitol Tree, Washington DC., USA., and the beautiful displays and decorations within the churches and cathedrals where I am able to take part within the advent season, Christmas Mass and enjoy the colors of the Advent Wreath Candles.

To honor the tradition of the Christmas Tree I would like to share my current embroidery project to say thank you for bringing joy to the spirit of the season. Christmas can be a busy time for many, and it is my hope to complete the project, but if I do fall behind a few days I will still share and update to my website. Please enjoy the progress of our baby embroidery of a Christmas Tree. Thank You!

“Elizabeth, filled with the holy spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my lord should come to me?'” (Luke 1:41-43)

Notes: I decided to share this project before Christmas Day especially as a reflective point. The embroidery project allows me to take a moment to slow down, and prepare the heart for what is the true meaning of the Advent and Christmas Day.

With Love & Kindness!🎄
