I would like to take the time to wish everyone a very happy Pride Month to all who celebrate with the poem by Emma Lazarus entitled: The New Colossus. As a continuation from my thoughts that I offered in my blog post entitled: My American Dream. Lazarus wrote this poem to raise money for the construction of the Statue of Liberty, New York. One of the symbolisms of the statue is the freedom to love.
