I would like to take the time to thank everyone who observed the National POW MIA Recognition day in the United States of America, and around the World who remember Prisoners of War (POW) and those who still remain Missing In Action (MIA). Thank you for your declarations that are signed upon the 3rd Friday in the month of September, to remember and renew a call to action. Recognize those who wander the whereabouts of loved ones and a promise to do what is right.
Upon this day I took the time to remember when I wondered what was the flag that was flying below the United States flag when I visited Washington DC., USA in 2016. Today as I was looking at a picture that I took from 2016; I realized that this is the POW MIA Flag that is flying above the World War II Memorial in the District of Columbia, Washington DC, USA.

At the time of taking the picture I did not know the flags significance. As I reflect upon this day of September 15th 2023: I am grateful for seeing the USA Flag and the POW together. I think that it is a good idea to fly the flags together upon National Memorials, Cemeteries, and significant buildings. That also include The White House, Capitol Hill and Military Bases. Especially as to indicate the honor of those who unknown to many.
