08.26.2021. Upon the 2 year anniversary of the Kabul Airport Attack, Afghanistan, I share my solemn remembrance of the 13 U.S. Service Members from the United States Navy and United States Marines that were killed from the tragic attack. I know that from this attack that 13 precious American lives were taken too soon, and that many lives were changed in an instant, including the many Afghan civilians, as I continue to appreicate the U.S. Evacuation missions in Afghanistan.
For this remembrance I would like to share the following image that I took on August 23., 2021. I would like to dedicate this remembrance to the Detroit Tigers’ Rookie, Parker Meadows, who hit his first career 3 home runs with the Houston Astros game on the 25th of August 2023. I would like to continue to encourage and inspire y’all as a mechanism of friendship from Houston, Texas, USA.
I also know that upon this day there is criticism from Republicans and Democrats of the President Biden Afghanistan withdrawal. I am unsure if the solenm remembrances should draw political criticism? However; I would continue to reiterate my humanitarian concerns in Afghanistan from my previous writing: AFGHANISTAN’S 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY. That should concern Government and Non-Government Organizations.
