My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives and all who were involved with the boat crash in Boca Chita Island, Miami, Florida, USA. Students from the Our Lady of Lourdes School and Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart were involved in the incident. It was announced on September 5th 2022 that 1 student named Lucy Fernandez had passed away with 10 students that are injured from the boat collision.
I was saddened to hear of the loss of this student / young adult, especially as students are heading back to school. Which reminds of the psychological impact upon students when tragic events such as these happen. Thank you to the school that has catered for the provision of students supports, such as counsellors, campus ministers, and licensed professionals.
I wish all the injured students lots of love and get well wishes, and especially to the family of Lucy Fernandez, love, sympathy and prayers. I thank the school officials who have offered their prayers and shared grief for the loss of this precious child of God.
