I would like to join the Society of the Honor Guard to share my thoughts of love, prayer and condolences for the passing of Tomb Guard 1st Relief Commander Douglas Fraleigh (1978-79) in 2013. I appreciate your commitment and dedication to serve as Tomb Guard during this time.
I first learned of the Tomb Guard and the Society of the Honor Guard during the Veterans Day Centennial event that took place in 2021. I was proud to join you and since that time have reflected upon what it takes to serve in silence. Strength, determination, commitment, a great love for country amongst much more. But what if you needed to say something? If only you could talk?
Thank you for your service. May your rest in the eternal garden. God Bless You and God Bless America!
