My thoughts of love and prayer to all of the Miami-Dade Police community and all who are affected with the shooting incident. Detective Cesar Echaverry is in critical condition after being shot in the head on August 15th 2022. Fellow colleagues and family are praying for his recovery at the Neurological Intensive Care Unit, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida, USA.

UPDATED | On August 17th 2022 the news of Detective Cesar Echaverry’s death was announced as we he unable to recover from the gun wounds. It is truly a time of sadness as we learn of your passing, and a time to reflect upon the service and sacrifices of the police force that desire to keep the community safe, and the risks that one must take for this. Echaverry was 29 years young. My thoughts of love, prayer, and condolences to family, friends, loved ones, the Miami-Dade Police department and all who mourn the loss of Detective Cesar Echaverry.
