The U.S. Congress designated May as Military Appreciation Month in the year of 1999. Military appreciation is especially for those who have served and sacrificed for nation past and present, to recognize those who are currently serving and also were previously within the military.
Within this month there is also recognition for Military Spouses Day, that takes place on May 6. 2022. Thank you to Military Spouses and all who assume the role of a military spouse in the form of authority and fidelity to nation / country of the United States of America.
Upcoming days of Military Appreciation are Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day.
